Business Development Manager
SmartStart, a forward-thinking Brand & Business Consulting firm, is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify growth opportunities, build strong client relationships, manage the sales pipeline, and contribute to expanding our market presence and service reach.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the key contact for new business inquiries and strategic partnership opportunities
•Identify and qualify leads through market research, networking, and outreach strategies
•Develop tailored proposals and pitch decks that communicate SmartStart’s value proposition
•Manage the complete sales cycle — from initial contact to onboarding and post-sale engagement
•Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations align with deliverables
•Maintain CRM systems, track pipeline progress, and generate regular sales reports
•Represent the brand at events, webinars, and industry forums to increase visibility
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management
•Proven ability to close deals, manage client relationships, and deliver on growth targets
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
•Goal-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
•Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation, and proposal development
